Due to my being attacked by some sort of spider or bug more than 20 times over on my torso, and the subsequent feeling of being turned into an arachnid's juice box, I am going to submit a photo from last weekend for my Self Portrait Thursday offering today. (Doctor prescribed antibiotic...so hopefully I'll be on the mend soon!)
Here I am knitting at the mall. (FYI: My daughter and I are in an apartment now! Thanks for all the well-wishes!)
This is my self portrait for Thursday, June 18, 2009.
Staying in a hotel with my daughter.
Going through a break-up and end to my 10 year marriage.
Fighting for the protection of the innocent.
Feeling more free by the hour.
We are persecuted, but not forsaken.
We are cast down, but not destroyed.
Window light today.
I'm sleepy! I forgot about SPT until 10:00 p.m.

Not the best self portrait tonight. Oh well...there's always next week. The fire was almost out before I thought about taking my SPT shot. We have had a fire two nights so far. Tonight will get to the freezing mark. Gotta love a cozy fire!
Once again...waiting too late to get in a good daylight shot. Oh well. My dear "Sis O' Bliss" Rachel sent me the photo in this self portrait a long time ago and it inspired me.
Here it is...better late than never! I took these yesterday, but I'm finally getting around to post them. My dear Craftster.org friend Jane of Glorious Hats made this fascinator and sent it to me! What a gal! She also sent me a darling Kumihimo Braiding Kit. It's primo. I'm having such fun with it! I'll post pictures of it another day.
Sorry guys. I'm sick. 'Had chicken soup for breakfast' kind of sick.
Camera batteries are dead. I SO don't feel like running to the store for new ones.
My dad took up (and put down) photography in the 1970's. I remember vividly that this tree had lots of sap on it.
