I took this photo at my childhood home today. It is also the home of my paternal Grandmother. This is a view from the back porch in front of what used to be a greenhouse.
I took my daughter and we had a good visit with Grandmother. I always take a nap at her house! Her home makes me sleepy. It could be that my allergies get aggravated from the 1970's rainbow shag carpet, I suppose. I'll have to get a photo of that carpet to share with you all the next time I visit her.
Hello to all my blog readers! I came back yesterday from a three day weekend at my friends Brenda and Howard's ranch. I sure had a good time AWAY from all the stay-at-home-momminess, but there is nothing in the world like your four year old running to you and squeezing tightly around your neck for ten minutes once you get home, either!
