The photo shoot went well!
Give it to me straight...Good for a nice wedding? Belted or non? Upper arms are big. Should I forget about sleeveless? My husband says it looks like a nightgown. I promise, it's a dress. Oh, and I didn't fix my hair and makeup today.
Still looking for a dress to wear to a fancy wedding. I had this in mind, but I'm going to take it back and get a cocktail dress. Yes, I know I should just design one, but I'm not really in the mood for sewing right now. Sorry about the angle. I have to hang my camera on the coat rack in order to get the shot. All other precipices in the room are either too high or too low.
What do you think...fancy enough for a ritzy-glitzy wedding? My husband has a co-worker who's getting married this month. It's an evening wedding. I'll post another dress tomorrow and you can help me decide between the two. (My hubby votes for this one.)
This shot reminds me of a 1960's year book photo.
The last of my Grandmother's formal gowns to show you. This one is bubble gum pink! My husband dislikes this dress entirely. Double-knit polyester, great lace jacket, Pepto-Bismol color...what's not to love?! If it were a tad smaller, I'd wear it for a night out on the town! (If I could find anyone who would go with me, that is!)

I never feel like dressing up on Thursday. It's a really bad day to have a 'self portrait' day for me. Oh well...no makeup and messy hair looks much better with my Grandmother's vintage evening gown! I pull this out and wear it around the house when I want to feel like Lisa Douglas on Green Acres.
Seems 1920s-ish because of my hair. The dress is from the 1970s. My Grandmother wore it while dining on their trip to the Bahamas, I believe. I have photos. I look a lot like her.
I have no good places to take photos around my house. No good props, either. Boo-hoo!
