I know, I know. I have not posted any photos of my crafts in a long time! Well, I have been a bit busy over this last Summer and Fall, but the Winter is shaping up to be a good crafting season, so there will be more to browse...I promise!
If you want to easily view my past crafts, check out this link to view my Flickr photo sharing pages (or click on the link to the top right-hand side of my blog). They're all neatly organized in an easy-to-view format.
Have fun...and check back here around Christmas time for some knitting, sewing and such project photos!

This is to my husband, with whom I am now back together, and will always cherish for being the man he is.
My life tells me not its breadth,
But with your love, I find its depth.

Love you always, Cory!
Due to my being attacked by some sort of spider or bug more than 20 times over on my torso, and the subsequent feeling of being turned into an arachnid's juice box, I am going to submit a photo from last weekend for my Self Portrait Thursday offering today. (Doctor prescribed antibiotic...so hopefully I'll be on the mend soon!)
Here I am knitting at the mall. (FYI: My daughter and I are in an apartment now! Thanks for all the well-wishes!)
My trip to the hospital for pre-testing was rewarded with a hospital rummage sale in the atrium! I happily picked up this nice Nine West hat for a dollar and...
65 spools of Gutterman and Meltler brands (high-quality) sewing thread for just $13.00, thank you VERY much! Each spool is a different, glorious color! In case you don't know, the thread is worth at least $130.00, new. Only a few of them have been used at all. SCORE!

I loved it! Too much, I'm afraid. I find that the high egg and dairy ratio in this dessert bothers my digestion. I may have to turn vegan!
The other members of my family didn't care much for the texture of it, so I most likely will retire this recipe. I'm glad I tried it, though. It was fun to make.
I would use fresh cherries next time instead of frozen, to keep the batter from turning so red from the juice. I'd eat way too much of it if I could handle the eggs and dairy, so it's a good thing that I can't eat it.

It's been a while since I've done a Self Portrait Thursday shot, but I'm back! Picked up this dress...so fabulous that I almost cried...for $3.00 at Goodwill's half-price sale!
It's vintage Sears. Mint condition. Fits me like a glove! I have my friend coming over later today to do a photo shoot of me in it. :-) But, I couldn't wait to even fix my hair or makeup, so I snapped a photo for the SPT group.
